Hello I'm 13 years old in the 8th grade and, in my opinion, pretty scrawny..
I weigh 106 and I'm 5'6.. I'm not as strong as I'd like to be, and would like to start weight lifting.. Could I please get tips and advice on what I need to do, different ways to lift, how much I should be lifting, etc...? All help is appreciated, :]Health Question & Answer

eat a lot of protein.. use whey protein or creatine.. Most beginners actually should workout 3 times a week.. After a month you can start working out 5 times a week.. Your young so your body should recover quickly.. You should workout each body part separately.. if you start out 3 times a week.. do chest and abs one day, back and shoulder the next day, and legs and arms the last day.. When you start working out 5 times a week, do every body part separately each day.. chest, back, shoulder, arms, and legs.. Then do abs three times a week.. For example mon, wed, fri.. Run three times a week too if you wanna get cut.. If you want definition run like hell..

first do like 10 push ups every morning then every night before bed then try lifting like 10 pounds or 15 trust me when i was your age i can lift like 25 poundsHealth Question & Answer
