I am training to get back in shape, I aim to join the royal marines in just over a year, at the moment I can do 60 press ups in 2 minutes, but can't do over 1 pull up, how can I better my pull ups.?
also I can barley run, how could I fix these problemsHealth Question & Answer

Start walking 5 km/day......increase distance to 8+ km.. Then use ankle weights on your walks (starting again at 5km and moving up)......this is to increase cardio conditioning to prepare you for running.. It seems cardio is the only answer here.. Start slowly and build up over time..

As for pull-ups, start doing lat pulldowns, deltoid extensions (weights in each hand and extend them away from your body to shoulder height) and work on bicep curls/exercises.. if you can only 1 pull up.. You should do pull ups for a hour.. that should leave you sore for a couple of days.. after you recover do a hour of pull ups again.. let your muscles heal..
