How many times a week is it safe for a male teenager to masturbate...?!

Question: How many times a week is it safe for a male teenager to masturbate.......?
I'm a 13-year-old boy who's going through puberty and needs to know how many times a week or day it is okay to masturbate.. I am just a little concerned about doing too much for my body to handle and would really appreciate a quick, knowledgable answer :).. Thank You So Much..Health Question & Answer

There is nothing magical about masturbation, it is simply solo sex and a bodily function like urination or taking a dump.. There is no max # of times that is "safe" as it is always "safe".. Only harm you can do is to be too experimental or rough and cause some friction burns or cuts.. Your body will function when it can, if you reach a point where your body says no, I don't want to, that's when you need to rest your penis a bit.. But guys your age typically masturbate at least once daily; I knew guys in their teens that did it an average of 8 times a day and had no "problems".. Just really depends on how sexually aroused you are.. Health Question & Answer

Jackinworld did a survey of its readers aged 11 to 19 and obtained the following results:

Average Masturbation Frequencies by Age:
11: 11..1 times per week
12: 9..4
13: 10..6
14: 10..6
15: 9..9
16: 9..6
17: 9..4
18: 8..5
19: 9..3

Remember these are averages - some will masturbate more often, some less..

Provided you are not getting sore or excessively tired you needn't worry - just do what feels right for your body.. It's very good for your health - this is from Wikipedia:

"A 1997 study in the British Medical Journal based upon 918 men age 45-59 found that after a ten year follow-up, men who had fewer orgasms were twice as likely to die of any cause as those having two or more orgasms a week.."

You can see how this makes sense - when you masturbate your heart beats faster, and your breathing speeds up.. Since the heart and lungs are two of the most important organs in the body, any safe activity that exercises them is good for your general health..

Other studies have found that frequent masturbation reduces the risk of prostate cancer - a doctor who studied the evidence recommended that teenagers masturbate at least six times a week..

As you probably know, jackinworld contains a vast amount of information about masturbation; it's not pornographic, and particularly suitable for younger teens - see the url below..Health Question & Answer

1-2 times a day or if you feel like it, as long as you are not left extremely fatigued or with a hurting penis.. There is really NO limits as long as you don't hurt yourself..

Just don't do it during schooldays or mornings before school or else you'll get very sleepy at class..Health Question & Answer

If you NEED to do it constantly I would suggest 2 times every other day, and if you can handle it once then I would suggest 1 every day.. But honestly if you think your doing it too much then take away the amount of times.. Have fun & be safe!Health Question & Answer
