Answers:
Your muscles need 48-72 hours to rebuild themselves after a workout.. Working out before they've fully healed breaks down the muscle fibers prematurely and reduces muscle growth..

If I correctly understand your workout schedule, then yes, it's fine:
Day 1.. Chest and Triceps
Day 2.. Back and Biceps
Day 3.. Legs

Since muscle groups are connected you may want to consider resting between Days 1 and 2, as they are both upper-body days.. Another option is to mix-up your schedule and do Chest and Triceps, Legs, and Back and Biceps followed by a rest day..

Cardio: To achieve maximum cardio gains pair medium-intensity exercise with high-intensity intervals....i..e.. 3 minutes medium-intensity followed by 1 minute of high-intensity - regardless of the form of cardio you are doing.. Biking is an excellent form of cardio, however running is typically a higher-intensity activity so it tends to produce better results than a stationary bike..Health Question & Answer

Short answer: The larger the muscle group, the longer the rest cycle..
Onto the longer answer, you seem to have a really good workout cycle so if you are not in actual joint pain, continue the regimen.. You should give yourself about 48 hours to rest, which is what you are doing anyway, so you should be good.. Remember, you can work your abs everyday without too much stress too and don't forget to stretch..

As for your run, I found its best to either run on a track or cross-country in order to get faster, but in bad weather, use a treadmill..Health Question & Answer

rest/workout/diet depends between person to person.. Best is to judge yourself.. Listen to your body signals, if its energetic go ahead as scheduled and if you feel exhausted then rest till you are fit..
Workout should be enjoyable and not punishable or strict routine chore.. Health Question & Answer
