All I can tell you is that you may get stretch marks if you bulk up too fast. I used to lift weights when I was younger and I got big real fast. So fast that I got stretch marks and asked the doctor why. He explained that I ripped, tore and repaired the muscle so fast that my skin didn't have time to keep up. Health Question & Answer

if you used to play sports everyday and in a good way why shouldn't but don't work out to hard this will make your muscles even worse iv been there once.

BUT
if you didn't then maybe start in the running machine and the bicycle machine.and maybe go swim for a bit.
