Personally, I wouldn't care either way unless it were my own child. It's the right and decision of the parents together, and no one else, especially not activists or people writing letters to the editor.
While someone probably should've made better decisions before deciding on an abortion, like whether or not to have sex in the first place, there's always the outstanding issues like it being a product of rape, or health issues. Besides all that, some people just aren't fit to be parents at that time for whatever reason, and maybe it's just the lesser of two evils that creates the necessity.
If it were my child, I would definitely have a say in it and try to avoid that conclusion, but if that's what the birth mother decides to do, I would be the last one saying lock her up and throw away the keyHealth Question & Answer
