Maybe because I have always had big calves, thighs, glutes, legs in general ever since I was a kid and that doesn't go the same for my upper body. So that is why I do upper body way more than my legs. I guess because the arms are the easiest to flex and for people to see, as are abs. Think about a guy flexing in a picture...all he has to do is lift his arm and flex.
