I don't know if this is Prostatitis as tests have to be done to confirm it. There are usually more symptoms too, such as lower back pain, and in extreme cases, haematuria (blood in the urine) It is best to see your doctor as antibiotics are necessary to clear it up. In the meantime increase your water intake to at least 2 litres a day. Some people believe that Cranberry juice helps to clear the bladder area. Make sure you are not constipated as this can irritate the Prostate Gland and give similar symptoms.
