This could be a financial issue. Are you guys able to afford another kid.? Or is this another added financial burden on his back.? Maybe he is tired of the diaper changing and everything that comes with having kids. Maybe he is looking forward to spending time with you or having a similar life before you had kids. First of all my husband had a vasectomy 4 years ago. They DO NOT require a consult with the wife, that would be illegal and a violation of the mans right to privacy. It would be like me needing a man with me for an abortion.

Talk to your husband and go with him to the doctors office. He can get a vasectomy that can be reversed later on. This is something that you both need to discuss..Health Question & Answer
