Smoking is a very bad idea at your age (make an informed decision about it when you get older. The damage it does to a younger body is much more severe than what it does to you when you are of or around legal age. Give it two or three more years and decide then if you want to start.)

Masturbation is natural however, and like others have said is good for your body. If you feel you are masturbating too often try to cut back a bit, but don't stop entirly. It wouldn't be healthy to not do it at all, nor is it healthy to constantly jerk off. You need to find an appropriate balance. At your age it would be perfectly normal to masturbate once a day, to 10 times a week. If you want to cut back maybe try every second day.? You can adjust your body slowly towards it.
Health Question & Answer

Masturbating is very good for your health; it is not at all like smoking, which is certainly addictive and causes various forms of cancer.

First read this - be sure to read it ALL THROUGH, as the beginning is a bit confusing:

As for health benefits - this is from Wikipedia:

"A 1997 study in the British Medical Journal based upon 918 men age 45-59 found that after a ten year follow-up, men who had fewer orgasms were twice as likely to die of any cause as those having two or more orgasms a week."

Put another way - having at least two orgasms a week halves your chance of dying between the ages of 45 and 59.

You can see how this makes sense - when you masturbate your heart beats faster, and your breathing speeds up. Since the heart and lungs are two of the most important organs in the body, any safe activity that exercises them is good for your general health.

Other studies have found that frequent masturbation reduces the risk of prostate cancer - a doctor who studied the evidence recommended that teenagers masturbate at least six times a week. It is thought that regular ejaculation clears the prostate gland of chemicals that can cause cancer.

The only negative aspect of masturbation is when you use porn as a stimulus; that can certainly cause problems, and is best avoided. Masturbating regularly does not make you addicted, any more than eating regularly makes you addicted to food.Health Question & Answer

Why would you want to stop.? It's a completely natural thing, everyone does it. If someone tells you they don't, they're lying.

Besides the fact that it doesn't hurt anyone, and it feels good, there are numerous medical benefits to it. Such as cutting your risk of developing prostate cancer, boosting your immune system, reducing stress, and possibly extending your life.
