alen, trimming it is something that many guys do. What may be happening is that as it gets heavier and longer, and you sweat more down there, that can cause some of the itchiness. Long oubic hair shouldn't be itchy. Is your oubic hair unusually coarse for your age.? Cutting / making your oubic hair shorter will probably make things worse.
