Question: Bloody stool.? What is this.?
For the past few days I have been experiencing loose stool. The stool is not painful or anything but it has small amounts of blood (Bright Red) in it. It looks like mucus from saliva or something. What could this be.?Health Question & Answer

it could be a bunch of different things. i work for a gastroenterologist and this is basically what we deal with. you could have something simple like IBS or as drastic as crohns. but you should go to a GI doctor to have yourself checked out. they'll more than likely schedule you to have a colonoscopy. its a very simple procedure that last 15-20 mins and your sedated for it. its nothing embarassing but it helps distinguish what could be going on by taking biopsies of your colon. i'd definitely make an appt though asap just to make sure everything is ok. good luck!!Health Question & Answer
I am currently going through tests for the symptoms you describe. the results havent come back yet but im putting my money on chrones disease. see your doctor also something if you find your going to the toilet alot and cramping up it could be related anyway see your doc. id give it a week if its only just started as it is a slightly embarrassing thing and there aint no reason to go through that when it might just pass.Health Question & Answer
