I'm 14, and i am 5'8. and my parents are both 5'7. i entered this info in a height calculator, and 5'11 came out. is that accurate.? or what height do you think i'm going to be when i'm an adult.?Health Question & Answer

i was around that height at 14 but now im 17 and 6ft 5 and still growing
so you could end up the same. height is apparently down to genetics but my parents are also average 5'5 and 5'9.

No way to tell. You could still grow taller for another 3 or 4 years, so from that point of view you have plenty of time to pick up the 3 inches that would get you to 5'11". However, you have short parents and genetics play a big role in your height. If your parents grew up with limited access to food, they may have been stunted and not have reached their full potential heights.Health Question & Answer
This sounds right according to most "calculators" that are used. Remember though, they are accurate within about 4 inches, so it's not that helpful. It's basically saying you could be anywhere from 5'7 to 6'3. 5'11 would be an okay guess.Health Question & Answer
