let me just say this, weed is not addicting. there is absolutly nothing in weed that gets you physically dependant on it, the only way to get hooked on weed is from the psychological point of view by liking the effects and wanting more. second of all, weed should be legal, really...until you try it, people assume its really bad but once you try it you realise there is nothing wrong with it and just makes you have fun. health wise...it really cant hurt you because its more healthy than a cigarette. slow reactions are probably because hes coming down from being high or is tired. I get like that sometimes after a night of smoking cause im so tired.
dont wory about it though, unless he gets into harder drugs that can be addicting. Health Question & Answer

Ok first smoking pot is a mental addiction meaning its all in his head and he can quit at any time there is nothing harmful about quiting no side effects or anything to worry about either other than he might be an *** since he thinks he is addicted to it... I know what you mean about the always forgetting things my bf used to do it to and quiting made him a better person he can actually think without being a total idiot.. but if he really wants to stop its really not hard maye tell him to hang out with people who don't do it ....Health Question & Answer

there's no physical dependence to marijuana. none. so there's no withdrawal. and it certainly cannot be fatal. alcohol withdrawal can be fatal. there can be an emotional or psychological dependence, to a degree. It's hard to stop doing something you like just because someone wants you to. and it's hard to stop doing something you like, even though you know it's bad for you.

he'll give it up when and if he's ready. begging won't help him be ready, but it will produce empty promises that ultimately leave you broken hearted. and if you give an ultimatum, be very sure you're ready to follow through with that.Health Question & Answer

Its harmless.the memory loss and slow reactions are side effects of smoking it regularly in large quantity ,if he stopped smoking they would go away in a week or so.
Sorry i don't know how to make him stop, its all up to him,if he really wants to quit it should be no prob at all.Health Question & Answer

No, it's not fatal at all.... Yes it can dumb you down a bit, but overall, compared to other drugs (heroin, meth, coke) it's pretty harmless...

Most people grow up and stop smoking it daily at around 30...Health Question & Answer
