I'm worried some bumps on my fiance's scars could be dangerous. HELP?!

Ok, so he's had gastric bypass and has had his gal-bladder removed within the last year. Now maybe...2 months after the gal-bladder scars have healed up, and almost a year after his bypass surgery, a small bump has grown just under but slightly on one of the bypass scars. He says it hurts, and we don't know what it is. I've tried webmd and it couldn't help me. At the moment we can't afford a doctor, and between the two of us we have enough hospital bills. Could anyone who has had (or knows someone who has had) either of these surgeries, tell me what you think it could be.Health Question & Answer
