Question about a sore testicle?!

Question: Question about a sore testicle.?
I kind of midly hurt myself last year and went to the doc. Mild impact to a testicle. He gave me an exam down there and just said to keep ice on my testicle that I hurt and it did work and I haven't worried about it sence. He said it didn't bust. Well it started getting sore again and I'm not sure what it is.

On the internet I'm reading about epididymitis. But would I be in pain like I can't stand it if that was the case.? Or a torsion where the spermatic cord.? Would I be in pain.?

Right now, my left testicle is sore midly where I often don't even think about it.

I am uninsured at the moment and don't want make my condition, if there is one (preexisting) so I don't want to go to the doc if I can wait until I get insurence. Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Pain felt in the testicles is often originating in the prostate gland instead. This is especially likely if the pain seems to move from one testicle to the other.

Prostate pain in younger males is most often caused by ejaculating either too much or not enough. It is helpful to cut out caffeine, soak the region in hot water and ejaculate at most three times a week until the feeling goes away. A doctor might also advise you to take an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen or aspirin.

Once the pain goes away, it is advisable to ejaculate on a fairly consistent schedule. That is to say, if you're going to ejaculate 7 times a week, it is better if you do it once a day as opposed to three times on Friday, four times on Saturday, and then nothing for 5 days.

Another possible cause is epididymitis, which is often (but not always) caused by sexually transmitted diseases. The treatment for epididymitis is antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, and bed rest.
