Left over sperm in the urethra:nothing else.

Well, my thoughts are different. I do not think its "left over sperm". Sperm does not survive more than a few minutes and the type of volume you referenced does not remain in the urethra on its own.

In fact, what you are experiencing is natural. I am assuming that you usually see this when your urine is more yellow than usual.

Yellow Urine is due to a lack of sufficient water consumption. Its your body's way of letting you know you need to pick up the pace on hydration. Drink more water.

As far as the fizziness of your urine; Urine is an acid. When it come out of the body it comes our warm. When it reacts with the water, which is a base, it tends to fiz-up. This is normal.

If you drink more water, your urine will be diluted enough to reduce this effect, but its simple science.Health Question & Answer

It is the semen which stays there or it can be ur urine which just dries off and stays there. The possibility is that its semen(sperm).
