Do shy guys act loud around a girl they like?!

Question: Do shy guys act loud around a girl they like.?
i am 17 and there a guy in 2 of my classes. whenever i see him with his friends or whatever, he is always just standing there never saying anything. however, i used to sit on the far side of the room from him and he would always walk over to his friend who sat next to me and act super obnoxious and loud and stare at me as he walked over there. he stares at my face alot and it is very uncomfortable so i ignore it.. now that i sit near him,he doesn't talk to that guy anymore or go to that side of the room. but he acts so loud during the whole class period ever since i have been sitting near him and before he didn't do that. he is always glancing at me, but when it is just us two working on a project he gets so silent. he stares at me so much that i try to avoid walking where i know he will be. do you think he likes me.? i hardly know him but the staring is bugging me. even when there are alot of people around, he is always staring at me..it's not that i am looking at it, i try to ignore it, but it is hard not to notice the staring. what do i do.? does he like me.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Well I've noticed that whenever I've liked a guy I automatically start acting/talking really loud whenever he comes around. I think it's just because I want him to notice me.

Maybe that's what this boy is doing with you.? It sure sounds to me like he likes you!Health Question & Answer

Yeah he likes you. I completely know how you feel, there's this guy in a couple of my classes who stares at me ALL the time, the whole period.
If you like him back, start a conversation with him. If he flirts with you, flirt back. But if you don't like him, continue ignoring him until he gets the message.Health Question & Answer

Most shy guys tend to be even more shy when they are put in awkward social situations - including being around girls they like. But its not impossible that some guys may realize they are shy and act differently so others don't think they are.Health Question & Answer

It's called posturing. It's a primal behavior. People often do it subconsciously. For example, a male may stand up straighter and tighten his upper torso. This is to demonstrate his fitness as a potential mate. His behavior will become more pronounced when other males are present. Again, the male is posturing, but his posturing has to compete with that of the other males present. Thus the louder tones of the behavior.
Females are no different. A woman will stand straighter and perhaps running her hand through her hair and presenting herself with a pronounced bosom. This behavior is done as a receptive gesture to the posturing of the male. If the female is not receptive, she will try to position herself in a less receptive pose. Shoulder slumped, and head turned slightly to the side, as if to turn away from the posturing male.

It all sounds so wild kingdom, but next time you get a chance to watch a group from a distance, watch the dynamic in action. It really helps you to read people.
