A Mature Hairline...mine?!
Question: A Mature Hairline...mine.?
Hopefully some of you know a little more about the term "Mature Hairline". I am 22 and recently graduated from college. During high school I had short hair and my hairline was pretty straight (from what I remember). Throughout college it rose on both sides a little (maybe 0.5 inches from the top of the side to the point in the middle).
Over that period I went through a very severe depression and didn't take care of myself, so I'm not sure if stress had to do with it.
I was told that it is important to note that none of my parents families are badling at all. In addition, I wasn't sure if it starts at the top of the head. Right now I have no balding at all at the top. The sides aren't getting worse either from what I can see.
I think most guys go through a point where they ask themselves if it will happen. Is this what they call a "Mature Hairline".? From what I just read (granted it being 2 seconds of accidental reading online), teens usually have a straight hairline, and the majority of men have it fall back a bit (even those who don't go bald).
Anyway, if you have any of info, I'm always interested in learning.

There is research linking premature balding with eating excess fatty diets (hamburgers, hot dogs). It's the reason Asian men do not go bald as often as American men.Health Question & Answer
when i started to go bald mine started from the front and went towards the back. sounds like your about to go bald yourself but don,t worry about it. there are worst thing then being bald.Health Question & Answer
