Question: I've been circumcised is this bad.?
I heard that it makes it less sensitive so having sex and masturbating doesn't feel as good and stuff like that. So does it suck for me that I was circumcised.? I'm half Filipino so I think that's why but is being circumcised really THAT bad.? also I'm American so I know it's commonplace here...Health Question & Answer

Nothing you can do about it anyway, so don't sweat it. About 30% of all males have been "cut" although the rate is declining around the world. In the US it was probably much more prevalent to do than anywhere else, but still dropping off in popularity. As said, you can't reverse what happened at birth, and you still have a perfectly functional member so no reason to bother thinking about what you never will know about. A guy can grow up, have sex uncut, then get circumcised and see the difference between the two. But a guy cut at birth won't ever be able to determine what difference there is, if any. No it actually makes very little difference. Guys who have been circumcised have less feeling in the glans (the red end) of their penis than guys who have been circumcised because the end is exposed more often. However this doesn't make sex any different - it's cleaner and some girls like it. It doesn't suck that you were circumcised at all - it's actually something special and you should be proud of it. Studies show that circumcision decreases certain types of cancer and other health problems. So yes, being cut is fine and healthy. But it is also true that it decreases your sensitivity. The amount of nerve endings in your foreskin is tremendous. It is sad that so many men are cut, but that is true in many countries, but getting less common all the time.

There is nothing wrong with circumcision. Its been done for over 3000 years starting with the Egytians. If it was bad it would have died out a long time ago. by the way Philipinos also traditionally circumcise just like the Americans do.

I was circumsized 11 weeks ago & if I'd known the procedure was so easy & simple - I would have had it done years ago. I am much more relaxed & content now than I was before. There's no embarrassment, no discomfort. Easy to keep clean. Health Question & Answer
