Can a man be born without testicles?!

Its possible that his testicles never descended from the abdominal cavity when he was an infant. However, this should have been caught years and years ago just during a normal physical exam. Was he never taken for well baby checkups.? Anyway, perhaps he has been checked out and they are simply missing due to an unusual birth defect. I have never heard of that happening. I am guessing it' very very rare if even at all possible.
Maybe he got them removed for some reason....?
Tell him to see a doctor, and tell him to ask for possible reasons for removal, or if it's pososible to be born with out.
