My brother works in a clinic where they do reversals. It is hard to do but it sometimes can be done. The doctor in this clinic has a party every year for all the fathers that have had kids after the procedure was reversed. An interesting fact is that 1 out of 500 vasectomies spontaneously reverse themselves. When I had mine done the doctor actually removed a long section of the Vas so there would be no chance of the two ends healing themselves back to the original state.Health Question & Answer
Yes, it can be reversed, but the chances of a pregnancy after are very slim. The market is full of fraud. also keep in mind that a lot of the answers on here are from spamers.
The cost is $5,000-$10,000 and that is not covered by insurance. also in most cases IVF is required.Health Question & Answer

A vasectomy is considered permanent, but it can sometimes be reversed. The reversal process is expensive, painful, and has less than a 50% chance of success.
In other words, you'd better consider the "snip snip" permanent!Health Question & Answer

It depends. Different techniques used have different rates of success in reversal. It is expensive, and a person should never get one with the idea that it can be reversed.Health Question & Answer
