How to lose muscle for a leaner look?!

Question: How to lose muscle for a leaner look.?
I'm 17, and a typical teenager who just wants to live a normal chilling life. I exercise n eat within my GDA's but I'm quite stocky with a bit of muscle. To the astonishment of most guys, I want to lose the muscle cause I'm not your typical gym freak kinda dude and the style I'm into kinda requires you to have a lean body. I also have a little bit of fat and excess skin from the weight loss. I know losing the fat is a start, but is there a way to lose the muscle.? I heard not training makes muscles smaller, but is there anything I can do to accelarate the loss of muscle.Health Question & Answer

Run. Go outside and run, go on a tredmill and run, run wherever and whenever you can, not like sprints, but slower distance running for long periods of time. If you arn't in very good shape, start with a mile or so at a time, but make sure you are fairly worn out at the end, but not dying. After a week or so, try to bump it up to two miles, and within a month see if you can go 4-5 miles at once without stopping more than once, and if you do stop make sure it is only for 20-30 seconds or so. Make sure you don't go and lift weights either. Running will help burn the fat, as well as muscle. Distance running can do this as long as you are not lifting because once your body runs out of fat to burn when you run, it starts to burn off muscle (I know, it doesn't sound healthy, but why do you think most cross country runners look like they do.?) Still make sure you eat good and healthy and everything, but avoid junk food. Eventually you will start to notice the fat, as well as some of the bulky muscle go away, and you will end up in great cardio shape as a perk!! Good luck hope things go well for you! I wish I had the opposite problem, I'm have been trying to bulk up for years!! I eat like crazy and take protein shakes and bars and everything and lift a lot and don't gain an ounce!! It's kinda sad because most kids my age are bigger than me. I'm 17 too. I'm 6'1" and 145lbs :\Health Question & Answer
