Me and my boyfriend have been talking about having sex for about a year,and we have finally decided to do it.We are going to the doctor monday,and he will be getting a std test,and I will be subscribed birth control.He isn't a virgin,and I am.He decided to get a STD test,because he wants to make sure he doesn't have anything,that way he will not pass it on to me.We have thought long and hard about are decision,and we both agree to use all protection available,so don't pressure us on that.We were wanting to know,what will they do to him as far as testing goes,and will we be given the chance to ask any questions we have.

They will draw blood and test it. The tests take 45-60 minutes and then he will be given the results. After he gets the results then, if you want, they will go over the results with both of you together. If there is a problem they will go over the options for treatment with him, both physical and if needed emotional.Health Question & Answer
