A lot of that depends on how long you are going to cycle them for, support supplements and post cycle therapy used, and in general, the steroid itself that you are using. Even how you take the steroid can change the risks. However, in your mid-20's (like 25-ish.?) your hormone levels should be relatively regularized and levelled off so you shouldn't be causing much damage to your endocrin system, if any at all.
Generally though, side affects with steroid use for almost any substance range from things like hightened blood pressure, prostate issues, liver damage is an issue also, and even lipid profile damage. Again, it all depends what you're using and how. Orally dosed steroids are a lot more harsh on your liver and some compounds can aromatise at a higher rate than others. I am not sure, I am 20 and was on a high dosage of steroids for almost half a year. It caused a huge flare up of folliculitis and stretch marks, but apart from that nothing else really happened. Health Question & Answer
