Question: Can you critique my diet.? I am cutting aka trying to lose weigh.?
I am 6 feet tall and weight 190lbs
Everyday I eat this
Meal 1: Whey Protein, Oatmeal
Meal 2: Egg Whites, Oatmeal
Meal 3:(Post-workout)Whey Protein, Banana
Meal 4:Chicken Or Tuna w/Broccoli
Meal 5: Same as Meal 4
Meal 6: Cottage Cheese, with natural peanut butter
All these meals total about 1800 calories 220gramsProtein/150gramsCarbs/and 30gFat
And on Sundays I add extra carbs to each meal to prevent my metabolism from going stale. Or I will get some fast food on sunday.Health Question & Answer

When you eat fast food, try to get grilled chicken.
Besides that everything seems fine, your aren't going to gain much muscle with this diet, but you will loose weight. Health Question & Answer

You have cut your calories back too much and it will slow down your metabolism and you will lose muscle mass. The two are tied together. Muscle mass and metabolism.

Add more vegetables & fruits. More complex carbs, like whole grain bread. A higher level of protein; grilled chicken,fish, etc. Don't skimp on the protein.Health Question & Answer
