Lump on my Hubby's Testicle?!

Question: Lump on my Hubby's Testicle.?
My Hubby found a lump in his Testicle a few weeks back now and went to see the Dr, the Dr said it was a Cyst and it would be fine. But the Testicle is now twice the size of the normal one which is freaking me out. Whats going on.? My Hubby is one of those blokes who won't go to the Dr unless he is nearly dying if you get my drift. I am so very worried. So in a matter of 3 weeks it has doubled in size. Is this normal.? What can he do about it.? We don't have sex because it hurts him and even sometimes it hurts him to just walk. I'm terrified it might be Cancer as sometimes these things just get brushed off, Dr's thinking that it's harmless then when it's too late they say it's Life threatening.

I would be so appreciative of any advise from anyone.

Get back to the doctor right away, it REALLY sounds like it could be cancer. Yes, these things are often misdiagnosed, I guess it's hard to tell. Often times even cysts are removed, because even if it's not cancer yet, you can never be to careful. So my advice would be to get back to the doctor ASAP to be sure, and get it removed so it doesn't keep getting bigger or causing him pain. It's just common sense...if it is cancer, or even if it isn't, you want to get it checked out and treated before it's too late. If your husband refuses to go, force him to; this decision could save his life.Health Question & Answer

I would call the doctor back up asap and tell him its doubled in size and painful since he last seen him. Im surprised he doesn't care, i found a cyst on me but it hasn't grown but if it does you can sure as hell bet im getting it checked and if the doctor feels the same way im going to another one for a second opinion. go to a different doctor and see what they have to sayHealth Question & Answer

Continued growth of the lump is something that should be addressed with the doctor again, for certain, depending on when you visited the doctor originally and what s/he had to say about returning. Pain is not a common symptom of testicular cancer, but should not be ruled out. I would convince your husband to go back to the doctor and make sure the doctor is listening to you and your husband, and make sure you ask enough questions to make sure your doctor is thinking about his case critically. Don't let your doctor brush the case off, and ask about testing.Health Question & Answer
