Yes it is extremely normal, men tend to get erections in the morning, i certainly do. this happens to men just as you might get wet (sexually excited) now & then though not necessarily in the morning!

For goodness sake this is absolutley normal!! When I was younger I woke up with stiffy each morning and I had to wait until it abated before I could go for a leak.
