I hav figured that 6inched is the average size of a penis, but I have never figured out whether that was when it was limp or erect.
So is 6inches an average size for a penis when it is limp or erect, or am i completely wrong.

i really don't think there is an average, they're all different there is really no "norm" plus girls don't even care if that's what you are worried about.
