Should I even shave yet?!

Question: Should I even shave yet.?
I just want to know if I should even be shaving yet. I only have hair above my upper lip so far. If I shave my hair in that area, it will grow back to what i had in about a week. When i shave my hair in about a week the hairs have doubled and look thicker. I know that when you shave it get dead skin and the hair but lets new strands come in. So should i actually be shaving this hair or not. Meaning I want to know if it's bad for me to shave it, or is it not harmful at all. If your standing in front of me you can notice the hair. I'm only 13 years old and 6'1.Health Question & Answer

The sooner you start shaving the sooner you will have to shave. Waiting until you are older means that the hair will not start growing so fast that you have to shave every day. When young and starting to shave the hair is fine and soft once you start cutting the hair will grow stronger and faster. It is true.Health Question & Answer

Until it settles into a pattern of growth whereby you need to shave daily, once every few days should be enough.

I suggest you look on the Clinique website for tips on how to shave so you avoid skin 'burn' redness, etc. Health Question & Answer

It obviously is noticeable to you, so shave it if you really feel you should
but either way it doesn't really matter since it's blonde
just make sure it doesn't get *too* long/noticeable if you don't shave it for a whileHealth Question & Answer

It is a myth that hair grows back faster when you shave it. If you do not wish to have hair on your upper lip, than by all means shave it, but that whole "it'll grow back double what it was" is completely a myth. Health Question & Answer

When you start shaving you need to do this all the time which can get pretty annoying. Leave it for now but if you get fuzz, which is located on your cheeks, trim it.

Hope that helpedHealth Question & Answer

no harm in shaving. Just shave when it starts to bother you.Health Question & Answer
