Skin on my penis doesnt roll back?!

Question: Skin on my penis doesnt roll back.?
Dear All,
The skin on my penis doesnt roll back during mastrubation.
I havent yet had sex till date.I fear that during my first sex experience, I might ejaculate early due to this problem.
Heard some where that we can get it operated by a docter.
Is it a good idea to do so.?If yes any good suggestions in Bangalore.?

First, your nonretracting foreskin will have nothing to do with whether you ejaculate early. This has to do more with being familiar with and in control of your sexual response. Masturbating can help you learn this.

Second, you have a fairly common problem for intact boys. You probably shouldn't need a doctor to deal with this. Make sure you're masturbating in a way that encourages your foreskin to retract. Wrapping your fingers around the shaft and sliding back and forth puts traction on the foreskin on the downstroke, and encourages it to develop the stretchiness it needs to retract, over many sessions. You can also try manual stretching to increase the ability of your foreskin opening to spread wide and pull back over your glans. First step, roll your foreskin foreward over two fingers and spread them apart gently. After you've done this for a few days and developed some stretch, try grabbing the opening of your foreskin in the index finger and thumb of each hand, and pull gently apart. You can do these exercises in the bath or shower, when the skin is already more elastic from the moisture.

A little background - the foreskin is naturally attached to the glans in childhood. Often the foreskin is totally free by puberty, but sometimes some natural attachment can persist late into puberty. Look and your foreskin when you retract it as far as you can. Does it seem fused to the glans underneath anywhere, or is it just tight.? Sometimes injury can cause adhesions that will not separate on their own, and you need a doctor to free them, but wait until you're 17 or more before you going this route.

Sometimes full retraction can be prevented because the string of tissue that attaches the foreskin to the penis on the underside (the frenulum) is too short. If this is the problem and gradual stretching does not help, a doctor can lengthen it surgically.

The problems of adhesions and short frenulum are very rare. The most likely reason for your situation is a tight opening of your foreskin. If stretching does not help this situation, you can have a doctor make a small snip in the foreskin to let it open wider.

If you need to go to a doctor eventually for this, insist that you want to just correct the problem, not throw away your foreskin. Many doctors have a tendency to urge their patients to have a circumcision (removal of the entire foreskin) when it is not necessary. This eliminates much of the sensitive surface of the penis (about 14 square inches) and causes the glans to become dry and numb because it's always exposed. We don't pull teeth to prevent cavaties, and we don't pull out a toenail when it becomes ingrown. You don't need to discard your foreskin because it's having a minor problem. Fix the problem!Health Question & Answer

It sounds as if you are not circumcised . That is where, usually as a small baby, the dr cuts the foreskin from around the head of the penis so that that problem does not exist. Is there anyway you could ask you rmother if you were circumcised or not A male can be circumcised at any age but it is usually done as a small baby, usually newborn. However, there are some religions that do not permit circumcision. Could that be a reason maybe you were not circumcised.? Another reason for circumcision is the hygiene factor. Its alot more difficult to be clean when you are not circumcised. You have to remember to pull the skin back and wash under it. Circumcised men don't usually have the skin there so they do not have to worry with that. As far as sex goes..you might have to make sure the skin is pulled back before you have sex with someone. You can have circumcision. See your doctor about this and see what he/she have to say about it. Good luck!
Most men that are not circumcised regret that they are not. It's a common procedure and will make your life better.Health Question & Answer

Well, depending on your actual age the tightness could simply something some guys experience when going through puberty. If you can pull it back while flaccid, I doubt it is severe enough to require any type of surgical intervention. Most cases of a tighter foreskin whether you are done with puberty or not can be solved with stretching exercises.

Start with manual stretching exercises twice a day. This is usually all that is needed, but can take about a month. If the skin is dry or cracking, apply a bit of hand lotion to moisturize the skin... which will prevent tears that will slow your progress. A website another here recommended has some good info, http://www.geocities.com/restoremaine/ti...

If after that first month the tightness doesn't go away, you can actually get steroid creams to apply such as betamethasone to help with stretching.

If the creams and second month of stretching still doesn't solve the problem, which is rare, then you can do a minor operation called a preputioplasty that will heal in a few weeks and preserve the foreskin and all its functions. Circumcision shouldn't be needed... more of a last resort.Health Question & Answer

Don't get a circumcision, you'll regret it forever. America is one of the few countries that still routinely performs this unnecessary surgery, and the Registered Nurse is giving you biased information because of this. If, after trying for a few months yourself to stretch it out, you still can't retract your foreskin, you could have a doctor make a small incision on the ridged band that will enable it to roll over the head once it heals. You could still try less invasive methods like daily stretching.Health Question & Answer

50% of all uncut, natural guys don't have foreskins that roll back, so you are probably quite normal. Nothing says it has to roll back, just 1/2 the guys do, and then some guys are cut. See your doctor if you have concerns. If it doesn't cause any pain or other problems with masturbation, you will probably be fine with intercourseHealth Question & Answer
