Question: Anyone heard of or had this.?
increased sweating during puberty , i sweat alot but it goes and comes back im thinking its a hormone inbalance but ive never heard of this happeningHealth Question & Answer

Yes. Your sweating will come and go.The heat and exercise will make you sweat most...but when you are not in the heat or exercising your sweating will tone down....part of coming and going. It will be in its immensity during puberty and then it will tone down once you age. It also depends one where you live and what you put yourself through. .Health Question & Answer

Hey dude,

I think I know what's your concern .?...anxiety. It's reasonable..Puberty could cause hormonal expression of excess nervous system activity...(check with other family members)...particularly male members..for similar experience/s...

If not and it is [the heat]..confined to a particular time of year that like others have said is also a possibility...as would be excesive excercise or factors such as overweight...

If hormones are normal and physical exam is standard normal, then the focus would be to evalutate your mental status...as I said first...eg. add/adhd...excessive anxiety or worry &/or depression..etc...etc..

As someone advised check these suggestions (with your GP) someone you trust and are confident and comfortable with...

Good luck and God's speed youngster..

You can have this, boys or girls, just hormones /growth, why do you think parents keep telling you to stop taking so many showers/shampoo or long showers.? Hair, face gets oily, zits come up too.., cause teenagers sweat, play sports. Just use regular shampoos, not the drying stuff. the more you try to dry out, the more it will come back.
Unless you have an underlying medical illness, it will settle down. if it continues or worsens. be seen. wear deodorant/ Axe smells great for the new stuff. although, I like Dior's Savage for menHealth Question & Answer

I'm a girl and that happens to me too. sometimes during my PE classes i don't sweat at all but then a couple of days later i sweat so much the deodorant can't cover it up. Don't worry it's part of puberty. i guess it happens to everyone some way of another. Health Question & Answer
