Foreskin Restoration. HELP!?!

Question: Foreskin Restoration. HELP!.?
Hello, i'm a 18 yr male and I've been restoring my foreskin with DTR since a year ago.It has brought up good results, BUT although there's enough skin now to cover the glans, it doesn't goes down, it stays behind the glans. I use metal rings as retainers, but they haven't seemed to work. What else could I use for the skin to go down the head.?Health Question & Answer

Don't listen to those other commenters who obviously don't know what they're talking about nor have any interest in the natural state of the body (e.g. a body which is born with a foreskin). The first commenter is very shallow, most of the men in this world are intact, so to discard someone on the fact that they have a foreskin signifies that she is not even worth most men's time. There are many women who are not shallow and know that a foreskin is not some god awful thing, but a natural part of the penis, and evenmoreso it won't matter if the penis is circumcised or not to a really good woman.
Commenter number 2, plenty of people find foreskin attractive because it's natural, the way the penis was made, not altered to look like. Just because you don't doesn't mean the whole world needs to think the way you do, I'm sorry; however, the world was here first and therefore does not spin on your ideals.
Commenter 3, I'm glad you have enjoyed your own circumcision and there's nothing wrong with that, but the original poster here I'm sure was looking for advice on how to better restore his foreskin, not critical discouragement to discontinue his practices.
Moreover all three of you I think need to take your egos out of the equation, because the question is not about your situations at all.

Sorry for that slight deviation from your question el_organillero, now I'll get to answering your question right away. If you desire to have what was taken away from you at birth or without your consent, then that's all up to you, not anyone else and people who aren't willing to support you really don't matter. I admire your ambition to undo what you felt bereaved of you, and I myself will be starting my own foreskin restoration in more depth in less than a month. The 3rd commenter was right in one thing, that foreskin restoration does take quite awhile to complete, and it all depends on how you were circumcised. Some men take very little time, others take 4 years, some just a little more, but you're already on the right track having a year behind you so far. Regarding the best ways to keep the foreskin over the glans since you've stated you have enough to do so, leave your foreskin restoring device off for about 2-3 days, the skin that is being restored whether you know it or not is actually a little swollen, because of the constant blood needed down there to regrow the skin. When the swelling goes down after that 2-3 day period the skin should slacken and roll over the glans itself or with just a little help. If that does not work, you may need a bit longer, in that case you can force the skin over the glans and when your not restoring, use tape to keep the skin over the glans, after a few days if that has not worked then you might not have enough for it to stay over the glans just yet, you may just have enough to go over the glans, but that it requires your manual placing it there. If that is the case keep restoring and try again to see if your foreskin can stay on it's own over the glans after a month or so, and repeat if it's not quite there yet, just don't give up.

That's about all I can offer. If you have more questions I'll be glad to answer them. If you don't want other's unhelpful criticisms of your ambitions then you can leave me an e-mail. Good luck to you, and I hope your restoration goes well, and don't give up.Health Question & Answer

When the Intactivists start playing "head games" with those of us who are lucky enough to be circumcised, they often make the point about the wonders of foreskin restoration. They fail to bring forth the fact that restoration takes a very long time. You are trying to stretch two layers of skin to cover your glans. The underlying problem is that the inner layer has very little elasticity so that the stretching usually result in uneven results. Lots of outer skin will be made to come forward over the glans but the inner layer just lags far behind.
There are surgical procedures for this problem if you are determined to cover your glans but they are expensive and should only be done by the most gifted and reputable surgeons.

I prefer being circumcised because I was "intact" until I was 26. I have always felt that I gained an obvious enhancement in my sexual pleasure from having this done. I don't miss having a foreskin. I wish you would take some advice form someone who knows what sex is like with and without a foreskin and believe that you are not missing some great experience sexually by having undergone infant circumcision. If you want to have information about surgeons who perform restoration, I should be glad to help but I feel that you won't like the cosmetic result.
If you are an American, you must realize that circumcision rates have not dropped in the U.S. as some site would have you believe.Health Question & Answer

Why the hell would you want that piece of slab on your penis.? It makes no sense. No one is going to find it anything but less attractive.

A great site that shows you how to make things like a retainer out of a baby bottle nipple is www.foreskinrestore.com The most complete site for general help is www.norm.org

I found the retainer from the nipple was a bit small. Something much more comfortable on the skin than those metal rings you are using that won't cause pain are O rings. These can be found at the hardware store. Some people are using the black ones, but they are a bit hard and will cause some pain after a while. The best ones to get are silicone O rings because they seem to have more give and don't pinch after wearing them for a while. They come in a lot of different sizes, but the best diameter seems to be 1/4 inch thick. I recommend you buy a few at the hardware store where you will be able to pick them out, then try them at home. After that, you can match the dimensions with the O ring sizing charts that they have online from the O ring supplier. THEN order the ones you want in silicone. I have found that most harware stores don't stock silicone. Of course you could ask the hardware store to special order them for you if you can't order online. The nonprofit site Norm.org has links to O ring suppliers. I have found that a stacked set of two o-rings stays on better, all day in fact. I glued two O rings together with silicone glue. I just went ahead and bought a whole bag of 50 so that I would never run out. They last forever, losing them is the problem. Eventually, as you near completion, the skin will stay forward better, but not always. Some people are getting a piercing after they are finished to make sure it will always stay in place.Health Question & Answer
