I am a clinical psychologist who specialized in child and adolescent issues. All of the below answers are correct in that they quote a lot of the mandatory criteria for the onset of puberty. However my friend often cases such as yours are exclusive to the particular person and their age and level of development. Every person is different and I think the question really should be " when do I know I have really experienced rather than begun puberty". An adolescent typically does not complete their maturation until about 18 years of age in males and I think around the same in girls. However females mature far quicker than most boys.
I don't think you can be really sure if you are sterile until your have sought the proper help to confirm this. It is difficult to imagine a you'd man of your age being sterile as it is often accompanied with such things as cancer treatment ands radio therapy and infertility in males. I will hazard a guess and suggest that your rate of sperm production would be higher than most middle age males. Therefore if you are really unsure be sure to research and ask question of your health care provider who you trust.also try giving yourself a chance man this includes not trying to complicate the issue to much by consuming all your thoughts with it.You may find that whilst your mind is on other important things that, you are not as sterile as you once thought

Don't worry about it, you'll get there when you get there, it's inevitable. You aren't sterile, you just have to let nature run her course. And, well, you will know when you get there as well, you will start to undergo certain changes in your body that are hard to miss, like hair growth, sexual arousal, and a deepening voice.Health Question & Answer

If your penis got bigger or hair is growing on it, you've reached puberty. If you're growing hair on your body, hair has never grown before, you've reached puberty. If you're voice has changed a bit, you've reached puberty. If you're having body odor and acne, you've reached puberty.
