When you wash, you can wash with soap or not, that's your choice. Personally I would wash with soap to insure cleanliness. If you use soap, use a hypoallergenic soap, because some soaps can be too harsh for your penis and cause it to become irritated and/or dry your penis out. When washing be sure to retract the foreskin all the way, (if you decide to use soap lather up the glans and halfway down the penis) then pour lukewarm water over your penis (if using soap make sure to keep pouring water over it until all the suds are gone). When done, pat dry and put the foreskin back over the glans and you're done. Do this everyday, if you're a guy who showers everyday it's probably easier to do it then. also it is very normal for it to be really sensitive when you pull the foreskin back, that's the way the natural penis was designed to be, sensitive so you can have heightened pleasure, it may be slightly annoying now, but it'll be something you'll be glad for later on down the road.Health Question & Answer

It is absolutely vital that you wash your penis both outside and inside the foreskin with soap at least morning and evening. You should also wash after vigourous exertion (eg gym or sports) and after swimming.

You need to completely retract your foreskin and use soap since the waste material called smegma which collects there is oily and will not be fully removed with water alone. After soaping it well you should rinse off with plain water. When drying yourself you need to dry under the foreskin too, patting it dry rather than rubbing it which may cause chaffing.

Failure to wash properly allows a build up of smegma which not only will smell bad but can lead to the growth of fungal and bacterial infections under the foreskin which provides an ideal breading ground for them.Health Question & Answer

Yes you should wash under it with soap ..but if i were you i would use a mild soap for that such as Ivory plain white soap to avoid irritation ..

the reason it is irritated is likely because you haven't been washing it or washing it often or properly ..always was and dry properly any part of you're body that needs to be washed over all of you're body ..

to help the sensitivity you need benzocane and or hydrocortisone cream ..if you cant get them using vaseline might help ..

also its important that you wash you're hands before you touch youre penis because bacteria can get into any open part of youre skin and cause infection ..Health Question & Answer

Yes you should pull the foreskin down and wish with soap. I had a bf who was not circumcised and did not properly clean that area. The smell is terrible and the cause of our breakup. On the other hand I also once had another bf who also was also not circumcised but did use proper hygiene and he never, ever smelled bad.Health Question & Answer

Pull your foreskin back if you can. If you can't pull it all the way back just wash what you can and don't worry too much about the rest.

Use soap if you want to but make sure you rinse really well. Leaving soap there can cause irritation.

Make sure your foreskin goes back to normal position.

Yes it's normal for the glans (head) of your penis to be sensitive. This sensitivity will settle down as you get older.Health Question & Answer

If it pulls down, you can rinse it off with water if really sensitive, and forego the soap for now until that area gets less sensitive. Just rinsing is fine as it will clean off most stuff.Health Question & Answer
