Lifting weights question?!

Question: Lifting weights question.?
How do I become big and muscular.? There are some big people with six packs so how do i get like that.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Well, getting big is the easy part...the hard part is getting the sixer everyone wants.

You gotta lift heavy....by heavy I don't mean bench press 315 for a set of six/ I mean every last rep of every set you do should be to failure or with a spotter. Try SUPERSETS or TRI SETS to keep your heartrate up so you're metabolism stays high. A great workout to try is Charles Poliquin's GERMAN VOLUME TRAINING.

To get the sixer....eat clean with very little to no processed sugars. Eat 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight you carry by eating 5-6 meals (possibly 7 or 8 if you're trying to gain weight) every 2-3 hours.

Here's a sample of a schedule - 7:00 -breakfast 10:00 - protein shake 12:00 - lunch 3:00: protein bar - 5:00- pre workout snack - 7:00- post workout dinner

For your workouts - keep them to 1 hour to 1:30 with short breaks and use the progression model in the GVT program I mentioned....you'll do fine. Keep a journal with pics if you can....it'll help you see the progress you're making....seeing is believing.

Above all else...have F-U-N with it, man. Good luck!!Health Question & Answer

More weights !!! And a more vigorous work out routine!!!
Plus, DON'T "over do" it, dude. Because ya need to rest, a few days out of the week, to give your muscles time to rebuild themselves. I used to work out with free weights, and I did three days on/working out, and two days off. But when the weights feel as though YOU are getting used to them, then INCREASE the weight. But be sure NOT to increase too much, and hurt yourself. Because torn muscles, or pulled muscles, put a SERIOUS cramp, into any workout routine !!!Health Question & Answer
