I'm 16 and my boyfriend is 18, we met when he was a junior in high school and began dating last year. We recently had our 9 month anniversary and we're very much in love. However, over the course of our 9 month relationship his frequent and lengthy erections have not decreased in any way. They are almost always present even when we aren't doing anything remotely sexual. It makes me worried sometimes that he either has; A) a problem B) only thinks of be as an object or C) that I'm reading too much into it. I'm not really sure what to do, as it can be embarrassing on both of our parts when his erection is visible through his pants (and it almost always is).
Should I let it go, as I have done for 9 months.? Does anyone know why he can't help himself.? He masturbates frequently... we're quite open about it.... so I can't see sexual frustration as an issue...

You should be flattered. When I had my first serious girlfriend, I was amazed that just being in the same room with her could give me strong erections - even if we were sitting a few feet apart, and she wasn't provocatively dressed. Hi Erin M lol your boyfriend is perfectly normal at his age. You are reading to much in to it. My boyfriend is 22yo and although he has slowed down a bit he is still much the same my best advise is to enjoy it whilst it lasts. I am. If your worried is he treating you as a sex object well is he taking you out does he buy you gifts does he share other activity's with you then no he isn't.
