Question: Maximun dose of hydrocodne in 24 hours
i have a question, i am taking lortab for my foot and i was wondering what the maximun dose of hydrocodon that can be tooken in 24 hours, i know that the max dose of tylenol is 4000mg and that would be 8 lortabs, however my doctor told me that i could take 1500mg extra if needed, but dont do it alot, however what about hydrocodone, a friend of mine has took 100mgs in 24 hours,that would be 10 tabs, (i dont see how i would prolly be in a daze or passed out, but my foot hurts like hell) btw my meds are 10mg/500mg.. thanksHealth Question & Answer

Your last poster is absolutely correct in that its not the opiate synthetic, the narcotic which is going to hurt you as its the tylonel which will do a number on your liver and kidneys.. Keep an eye out for the color of your urine and if your urine begins to turn brownish in color, back off on these a bit until such time as the urine become more yellowish or more clear and then take a look at the color of your poop and if it becomes more yellowish or green then it is effecting your liver and it also time to back off a bit on your medication.. also, it really help to drink more milk and your on this stuff as it will help your stomach..Health Question & Answer
its not the hydrocodone that is gonna hurt you but all that acetaminprofin is gonna ruin your liver.. if you need stronger drugs take oxycodone but be carefull.. its the worst addiction and if you can get your hands on it theres no turnin back..Health Question & Answer
