Hi tyler,

You have so NOT GOT have pneumonia sweetheart!!!

Here are the symptoms of pneumonia:

Cough producing rusty coloured sputum sometimes with blood.
Fever.
Shaking, teeth chattering.
Fast shallow breathing and short of breath.
Chest pain made worse by coughing or breathing in.
Fast heartbeat
Tired and very weak.
Nausea and vomiting.
Diarrhoea.
You certainly wouldn't be feeling well enough to sit there and post a question darling.

You have a straight forward cold by the sound of it which has gone to your chest and you have quite normal symptoms for that.

Please stop worrying now and get yourself better with lots of fluid and healthy food.

Lots of love.

When you have a health problem do not call the hospital and ask a nurse to diagnose your illness over the phone unless it is a special service that provides phone advice. Most hospitals forbid nurses to do this because it is an unsafe and poor practice.

Having said that, you probably have a viral infection. Stay home and rest, drink plenty of fluids, and take tylenol if needed. If not better in three days, see your doctor.Health Question & Answer

If you are worried, you're best to see a doctor.
Some forms pneumonia can be serious if left untreated - otherwise call a hospital and speak to a nurse, they may be able to help you (to save going to a doctor)

Try not to stay in bed all the time - keeping a little active (just doing day to day tasks) helps move the mucus from your chest.Health Question & Answer

You should see a doctor. If you have a chest pain when breathing, it may be pneumonia. Some (but not all) pneumonia is serious; don't delay about that doctor.

If the pneumonia is caused by bacteria, you need an antibiotic, and the sooner you start it, the better.Health Question & Answer
