My husband has suffered with acid reflux, and barretts (barretts is precancerous, caused by the acid) for years. He to couldn't get private ins. because of all the tests and problems he has had in previous years. He only threw up a couple of times from the acid, but he rarely ever throws up, so for him to do that was a huge flag for me. I really thought that he had cancer, thankfully he is doing better. In september we were introduced to a botanical juice called seven+. This is a juice produced from 7 super fruits. You can get a bottle if you go to the web site. Try the juice for 7 days and see if it helps. BTW since sept. he has had a total of 4 maybe 5 episodes of bad AC. Before sept. we had our bed up 8 inches at the head. I usually would wake up at the bottom of the bed by morning. Since then the times he has had ac at least 3 of those nights were from eating a 1/2 plate of brownies before bed. Some things are just self induced (it is a guy thing). This can't hurt you and if you go there you will be able to see the things that are in it. I feel your pain in your concern. It is not fun to always worry about the people you love. Hope this helps you.Health Question & Answer

You're right to be concerned. ARD will eventually cause the lining of the esophagus and, perhaps, the stomach, to erode away. This is not a good thing and in very serious cases create a hole or lead to cancer.
I empathize with the no insurance thing. I'm in the same boat right now. Go to the free clinic near you for analysis and treatment. Maybe, they can even help you qualify for Medicaid. Don't wait.Health Question & Answer
