Slow down some or stop till you feel better since you burn Energy and need this the same to become well. You want to be 100 % when you compete right then take a few days to relax rest drink plenty eat right get meds if need be and get better so you can return to the sport you love to do.Take care of you 1st then think about the sport no one will but you. hope you feel better soon.Health Question & Answer

I'd recommend chilling out for a day or two. I figure skate and when I was in the heat of my competitive career, I was having really crazy practices and had to train really hard (throwing yourself up in the air like that isn't easy!) and my coach was very, very strict. Even she told me that if I was sick -- not just the sniffles, but genuinely sick -- that I should stay home a day or two. Your muscles won't lose mass that quickly, and you should give your body a chance to heal itself. Rest until you feel significantly better, and then start out on lower intensity work outs until you're back to your old self :)Health Question & Answer
