Anyone know a sore throat remedy I can cook up at work?!

Question: Anyone know a sore throat remedy I can cook up at work.?
My throat is killing me, starting this morning. My roommate's too... this is not a good sign. Anyway, I'm at work but already back from lunch. I would LOVE a little thing I can do to make it feel better.

In the kitchen we have coffee, tea (decaf and regular), hot chocolate, and hot/cold water.

I'll be home in 2 1/2 hours, what can I do then.? Thanks!Health Question & Answer

Answers:
It works 100% of the time and it's simple. Use salt. Tilt your head back and sprinkle plain salt as far into your throat as possible. Not on your tongue so you don't taste it. Let the salt dissolve in your throat, don't swallow until dissolved. Repeat this every few hours and within one day your sore throat should be gone. For all the scientific info, I found a site that details what I already know works. You can check it out at http://www.throatsore.com. Good LuckHealth Question & Answer

First you should find out whats causing your sore throat. Then you can move on to remedies for it. Try an over the counter remedy. Or you could try either hot or cold. Such as hot tea or ice cream. Usually one or the other works. Don't forget A little thing called strep you might want to get checked.Health Question & Answer

Keep drinking while you're at work. On the way home, stop at a drug store and pick up some chloroseptic. It is wonderful. It numbs your throat. I used it a few weeks ago and it really helped.Health Question & Answer
