It's real. I know 3 people who have had it. A neighbour of mine died from a strep infection. It turned into flesh eating disease and it ate her brain. She was 40. Her partner got it too and would have died if he had gone to the dr.s a day later.Health Question & Answer
It is absolutely real...caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, the same bacteria that causes Strep throat. Scary, huh.? Another bacteria that can cause it is Clostridium perfringens.Health Question & Answer
