Answers:
The problem was peanut paste that is used in foods and crackers. It doesn't involve peanut butter in jars. It is one particular company that makes and distributes the paste. The smart thing to do is what I have done when I realized that I was eating peanut butter cookies is to call the manufacturer and ask if there products are involved. The numbers are usually on the product. When I called Reeses the maker of the cookies I was eating I was very fearful. Immediately there was a recording that stated that their products are not involved in the Salmonella illness. So it's a good idea to call before eating. These homes had to have been buying cheaper products made with the paste.Health Question & Answer
