Is smoking pot addictive? ?!

Question: Is smoking pot addictive.? .?

I only smoke once maybe twice a month. And just wanted to know peoples take on addiction etc. And if it's less addictive than most.

Answers:

It's not a narcotic like morphine or heroin so it's not physically addictive but if you use it to "make your problems go away" then you're getting into a field of habitual use. It starts out much like you come home from a stressful day and have a drink. Another day you'll think you need two drinks and so on.
I'll just tell you from experience it's better just to stay away completely.
