Question: My dr told me on fri that i was positive for type 2 herpes. She let me know i have antibodies for it!.?
Here is my question. I need to have my 2 other partners tested. I dont think they have it cause i think i got it from my partner that i have had for a year. So at that note when i test my 2 other partners will it show up in a blood test right away that they have it.?

I heard that it can take from 30 to 90 days to show up on blood work! Thanks every one. I am asking this questions cause i need to let them know this before they take the test for it.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Just let them know that you have herpes, they will get tested if they want to.
If they have herpes it might show up on a blood test if they have had it for a long time. It can take that long to show up or even longer since your body can suppress it for months or even years after you contracted it. So you could have gotten it from a past or current partner, trying to find out who you got herpes from can be a little tricky.Health Question & Answer

no, actually, all you need to do is let them know you are infected, the responsibility for getting tested themselves is theirs.Health Question & Answer

well just trust the doctor.... they great in medical experience. maybe you can try http://get-std-treatment.info for more information about herpes.Health Question & Answer

They should be booth told with a BIG sorry, tell them to get tested or you'll call the health board because you may have infected them and you don't want to ruin any one else. Your partner should be charged with criminal negligence, any one who is infected do not have the right to infect any one else.Health Question & Answer
