101 is within normal limits, however, having two sips of coffee with sugar is not fasting. Let your doctor know that you had something to drink and let him/her decide if you need to re-take the test.Health Question & Answer

a little high. why would you have sugar if you are diabetic.? you shoud try an artificial sweetner (sugar does interfere with the fasting glucose tests).
