Question: What usually follows if a doctor wants a "follow up" appointment after blood work.?
Hubby took blood test a week ago, results in..we are thinking its bad news since they asked him to come back in for the results....?

I can tell you already,
Triglycerides are to high, LOSE WEIGHT
Cholesterol is too high and too much "bad "(LDL) and not enough "good"(HDL). DIET and EXERCISE
Blood glucose is too high, STOP DRINKING AND LAY OFF THE CARBS.
Too much body fat and cholesterol EXERCISE and DIET.
They will also look at electrolytes like sodium and potassium.
What they may not say is that blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides and body fat are the easiest thing to treat With diet and exercise and the hardest to treat with chemicals (which cause potency and kidney problems)
That information does not sell pharmaceuticals though so be careful if they want to medicate immediately.
One's blood work can prove or disprove a number of things.

some doctors just like to see you for results.call his office ask what results were they should tell you even if you have to see him later. most of the time doctors are busy and don't even see them till you are there. so if just normal blood work hold on if special blood work call whats the worse they can say at that point wait till you come in ,in a few days.i really like to go in because i ask for a copy of them to have for my records.you can also look them up youself and see what ranges are normal.Health Question & Answer
It depends on what you consider to be good news. From what you said, your husband is having problems. So not finding anything isn't necessarily good news. Maybe they figured out what was wrong. Or maybe they didn't but have an idea about what to try next.Health Question & Answer
