Answers:
You didn't smoke long enough to do any lasting damage. The lungs are amazing at repairing themselves. One cigar per week is probably ok, but there's still a slim chance of oral cancer with any use of tobacco. If you can do without it, I say none at all is best.

I am in the Medical Field
My grandfather smoked for 20 years. He stopped 30 years prior to his death. Within 6 months of his death he had COPD which is related to smoking
So it makes NO difference. If you start now and quit there is a chance that you will developed lung disease by the time you are in your 70's or 80's
EDIT>>TY is so WRONG once you start you have already damaged your lungs

You'll notice a difference soon. No more coughing and hacking. At the level you smoked maybe you have spared yourself the worst of it.And don't put a timline on your smokking because as you get closer to the date you smoke more. (just human nature).Health Question & Answer
