I got my whole face waxed, now parts of my skin have been ripped off and I have tons of redness and more acne!?!

Question: I got my whole face waxed, now parts of my skin have been ripped off and I have tons of redness and more acne!.?
I need help! My husband is due back in a week and I tried getting my face waxed (I've done my eyebrows, and chin and upper lip before and there hasn't been any problems) when I got my whole faced waxed (I have Poly-cystic ovaries which causes extra facial hair). Now my face is red and burns! Looks like I have a SEVERE case of acne and eczema! I need help to try and clear it up before my husband comes home. It also ripped some skin off my face! The person who has done the waxing put on special cream and said it would help breakouts after waxing, but it hasn't helped.

PLEASE HELP!!!Health Question & Answer

Answers:
whatever you do DON'T TOUCH THEM

Try not to put makeup ontop, unless you have to.

It's either an allergic reaction or ingrown hairs. To try and get the ingrown hairs out, steam your face in a bowl with hot water (just put your face above the water) and then you could try putting something like witch hazel or salt water to clean your pores.

If they are red underground looking pimples, you can try to put hydrogen peroxide (nothing over 5%) on them.

Let them go away gradually. If you are prone to picking, put tea tree oil on your pimples which will also help the eczema looking skin and put a bandaid over it.Health Question & Answer

When did you get your face waxed.?

Don't worry....it will go away. The bumps are an allergic reaction to the fragrance inside the wax. It goes away in a day, by the time your husband gets back it will be gone.

Just relax...don't pick at it, in fact I would recommend not to do anything except wait.Health Question & Answer

You need to put hydro cortisone cream on the red spots (it sounds crazy but I swear it works). And I have this stuff called biafine cream and it works too.Although I can't remember where I got it.Health Question & Answer

Umm...I'm not surprised your whole face hurts, you should never EVER wax your entire face. Yes, eye brows, upper lip, but not the rest! I take it you didn't get this done in a salon because this is an absolute NO NO. Ifyou did go to a salon, you need to complain as this should NEVER have happened. If facial waxing was o.k don't you think men would be doing this by now instead of having to shave every day. I would see your doctor a.s.a.p. also talk to your doctor about other ways to help your excess facial hair. For your sake I hope you don't have ongoing problems with this such as excess hair growth in places it's never grown before!! Good luck, you'll need it.Health Question & Answer
